I am not going to you class this week. I feel that I did not learn much about speech and debate, but felt like it was more like practice and something that we do at school. I am also very busy in the upcoming 2 weeks. I have to go to China soon had make preparations for the trip. I also have to make preparations to take the SATs and PSATs.

As to your first point, note that the class was not intended to teach speech and debate but rather improve public speaking for more unexperienced students. The Aug9-13 camp is where you want to go for speech and debate.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious as to what classes you've taken so far that teaches public speaking and has you practice for them; as far as I know, my classes at Miller contained none of those.
